What exactly is an emulsified sugar scrub and why should I be using one?

A sugar scrub is a type of body treatment that has been specifically made to exfoliate the skin.

A standard scrub is typically made of an exfoliant, carrier oil, and fragrance. While they are super easy to make and great for removing dead skin, standard scrubs can be messy, leaving an oily or greasy residue on your skin and bathtub.

Emulsified scrubs are lotion and scrub combined.  The mixture is the consistency of thick cream.  They rinse clean away leaving your skin, soft, smooth and glowing.

I use mine several times a week, particularly when it's super cold outside and the wood stove is glowing red hot.  Arms, legs, feet, heels, hands and even lips.
