I'll be honest, I am in my mid 50's and most people have trouble guessing my age. Whether it's due to genetics from my Sicilian side of the family or living a more laid back, authentic life.. who's to say?
I'll let you in on a little secret.. it starts with this soap.
I use this soap every time I wash my face. Now before you go yelling that I shouldn't be using soap to wash delicate facial skin, let me tell you a little bit about some of the ingredients in this very unassuming looking bar of soap.
Featured ingredients and benefits:
Rosehip oil: Rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which are integral for tissue and cell regeneration in the skin. It helps to hydrate, moisturize and give the appearance of brighter, glowing skin.
Rosehip powder: Rosehip powder contains vitamin A and vitamin C which encourage healthy collagen production and skin cell turnover.
Each bar is approximately 4.2 oz.
Olive Oil, Organic Babassu Oil, Goats milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Water, Organic Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Avocado Oil, Organic Rosehip Oil, Powdered Rosehips, Sodium Lactate,Sweet Orange Essential Oil, Clary Sage Essential Oil, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil Fench Yellow Clay, Madder Root Powder, Tumeric Powder

I was increasingly frustrated that the ingredients in my favorite body products were not only unpronounceable and unrecognizable, but also questionable as to if they were good for my body.
I started making body butters using simple, recognizable ingredients for myself and ended up making them as gifts as well.
I run a successful boutique business and love working with customers to create one-of-a-kind, custom products and gifts that are made with love and intention and filled with the peace and serenity of the mountains.

“I make my soaps in small batches, which allows me to oversee every tiny detail of production and put out high-quality products that you can not only feel good about using but that also leave your skin feeling amazing.”

Solitude Soapworks studio is situated on the back part of our homestead, overlooking flower gardens, forests, and the majestic high peaks.
It blends in as only an Adirondack Camp cabin can with a green metal roof and dark brown siding. Very unassuming from the outside but indoors is where the magic happens. You’ll find plants, crystals, and a wall of fragrance and color—it’s a hippie’s paradise, and there is always music playing. (It keeps the gremlins away.)
Our soaps are formulated to be gentle for all skin types, using only the highest quality plant-based butters and oils we can source, and our leave-on body products are made with organic ingredients wherever possible.
