PRODUCTS

Yes, I do! I make all the products—right down to the labels.
Not right now. I have a studio on our farm, but I’m active at our local farmers markets in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, as well as the monthly Peru Town Market and various other artisan markets located in Plattsburgh. You can also find my products at Green Goddess Natural Market in Lake Placid and at Old Soul Design Shop in Plattsburgh.
Sure! If you don’t see a fragrance that suits your taste, let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll be happy to accommodate you.
Absolutely! The two fragrance- and color-free soaps I always have in stock are: Goat’s Milk Oatmeal and Silky Oaty Goat. These can be special ordered to accommodate anyone wishing for a vegan product. Or if you’re after something in particular, reach out! Custom recipes can always be requested, or I can tweak the current ones if need be.
Our body butters, sugar scrubs, and body oils are vegan, as well as some of my soaps. All ingredients are listed on each product.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Yes! I love collaborating with people to create their vision for a special product or gift! I hope you’ll check out my collections of soaps and body products, as this is a great place to start when planning a special order.
The best part about special orders is that they can be unique to you and your event! I love working with you to make sure I can create the perfect favor for your event. Whether it’s a custom scent or color, your favors will be as memorable as your special day.
I’d love to hear from you! I’m available for consultation by email or by chat. Click here to get started.
Custom orders take 6–8 weeks to complete. I know it’s not ideal in our fast-paced world, but cold-process soapmaking—which is what I do—can’t be rushed. That means all my soaps require 4–6 weeks of curing time. “What’s curing?” you ask. Great question! Curing soap accomplishes two main things: This process takes 24–48 hours for other soapmaking processes, but cold-process soapmaking requires up to a month to cure. The water or other liquid used to make the soap needs time to evaporate. Soap that isn’t fully cured will have marginal lather, and it won’t last long. Curing allows a crystalline structure to develop inside the soap, which will make it gentler and milder. It’s a complicated, scientific process. Basically, soap, like fine wine, only gets better with age! It’s a process that can’t be hurried.
I’m sorry; the 50% down payment is non-refundable. The deposit allows me to pay for materials, should I need them, and it covers part of my cost if the customer doesn’t complete the order.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

I strive to maintain a 48-hour turnaround time from the time an order is placed to the time it is shipped. However, with that in mind, we all need some time to relax. Because of that, all orders placed after 3 p.m. on Friday will be mailed out on Monday.
I ship using USPS Priority Mail and UPS. Both shipping methods include insurance and tracking information. Tracking numbers will be provided when the shipping label is created, so you know exactly where your new luxury items are. Any shipping overages are happily refunded.
Mistakes happen! If you’ve entered the wrong address and you realize it right away, send me an email. If I haven’t sent the package, I can adjust. Unfortunately, if the package has been sent out and has to be rerouted, it’s up to you, the customer, to pay any of the extra fees. Of course, if it’s my mistake, I’ll pay the fees!

RETURNS

Due to the personal nature of soap, I am unable to accept returns for soap or body products.
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have before ordering to ensure you don’t have any issues when your soap arrives. Seriously. I love talking about soap! If you have specific concerns about cosmetic ingredients, please contact me before ordering. It’s extremely important to me that you love your new products. If there is a problem, let me know immediately.

DAMAGES & ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.
